Rose Brooks, MA, LPC

Rose holds a B.S. in Psychology and an M.A. in Counseling and Development from Lamar University. Rose has over 12 years of experience working in various settings, such as a correctional facility, clinics, out & in-patient, and residential care.


Rose offers individual sessions specifically working with pre-teens/teens and adults. Rose specializes in working with clients who have difficulty managing their anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger, or parenting issues. She also has experience in working with LGBTQIA+ related issues, trauma and abuse, and family conflicts.

Rose utilizes a holistic and multicultural perspective, allowing for the therapeutic experience to be evaluated for her clients and encouraging authentic growth. It is important for her to know that her client’s not only feel heard and validated, but supported too. You can expect a collaborative therapeutic experience that empowers you to embrace your strengths, explore your inner resources, and unlock your full potential.

She incorporates cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused counseling. It is her goal to work with clients who are prepared to change and want to build a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
