Jay Barnett, MA

Hello, I'm Jay Barnett a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern who specializes in working with youth and young adults experiencing challenges in their daily life.  I believe that internal wellness is an essential part of personal growth and establishing a healthy mindset, which is why I am passionate about helping clients heal from their past traumas or life stressors.

I work with children, adults and families, to help them develop healthy perceptions of themselves, overcome personal obstacles and strengthen their relationships so they will know themselves as peaceful, whole and safe.

With my background as a former professional athlete, I also specializes in Sports Performance therapy to help athletes achieve their full potential, develop healthy self-esteem, enhance performance, and cope with the pressures of competition.

Because each client and situation is unique, I have experience in a range of modalities to help his clients be successful in their time of therapy with me.

I'm excited to work with each client on their journey to internal wellness.
